The "Fortresses", now directly over the target,are beginning to drop their deadly payload,consisting of 500lbs bombs...
The last seconds of a V1 base?
No. The bombs miss their target and explode some 900ft off it. Probably missed due to the cloud layers and strong winds.
But the men in their bombers don't care about that now,since the german flak has somehow spotted them.
Hell seems to be on the loose and dozens of flak grenades are exploding around the formation. Piercing the bombers' hulls with shrapnel.
