... Funky chopper, my little Ka226 - Isn't it cool or what...

I've been flying it around Russia for the last months, till some unfortunate misshap took place..

Off in the sunset to deliver some passengers...

Image

No tail, small body... handy when parking in the city...  ;)

Image

Rotating just outside Kazan...

Image

Minding my own bussiness somewhere in Georgia...

Image

Chilling in the sunset...

Image

Loud BANG, lots a smoke, NO GOOD! Emergency procedures...  :-X

Image

Down in one piece, thank god, but the engine will have to be revised... Dimitriev (the mechanic) won't like what i've done to his machine

Still a long way to walk home... Luckely my bottle of wodka survived...  ::)  ;D

May I dare asking if it has a VC? Or are you too drunk to answer that (Vodka!)? ;D

Nice shots Omag, and I have to say Vodka is one of my prefered forms of anti-freeze on those cold winter nights (if the wife is away) ;D

I have heard that those tandem-roter choppers tended to crash a lot, anyone know if this is true (the Chinook was known for this as well, not just Russian hardware)...
