The highly versatile Ampjet amphibian for those fast trips from a busy Aerodrome to a wild lake or river out in the middle of nowhere...!

Leaving Commodore Centre water park*, (22CA), a few mile west of San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge...



Travelling up the Sacremento River towards Lost Isle, (Q87)...
Note the exhaust effects... ...!



Landed on the river at Lost Isle... ...!



Just look at all that polished, shiny, aluminium... ...!



In amongst the sailing boats... ...!



And just to show that it's a real amphibian craft; parked outside Lost Isle FBO... ...!



...and a look at the undercarriage...real wheels... ...!

It's just that in the course of the day I have these wild fantasies* about getting somewhere a liittle bit faster than in my Cessna 150's... ...!
But I promise it won't happen too often... ... ... ...!

At the moment I'm back in my usual Cessma 152, CC-KAA chuffin' quietly around 'Frisco.... ... ...!

Well, no leaping off mountains,  rappelling and jumping, anyway, but been there, now I only do that stuff in my nightmares, you mean I am gonna get the urge to do it again.  Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
