St Augustine, FL...11:00AM, August 5th

Postby JW49 » Sun Sep 05, 2004 1:59 pm

FLew to St Augustine this morning to check on the T6 Texans that "Top Gun" is bringing here to KEHR for flights on the 25th.  Still some very nasty weather, though the worst had past.

Surveying over the city

Winds are really up near the coastline

Didn't see any visible damage this far north in the State

Plane seems to have gotton a little dirty :-[Image

Airport finally visible in background

Lucky to be on the runway at all :o

Parked at "North American Top Gun" hanger, waiting to meet and talk with "Top Gun" flight instructor, Rob, "Golden Boy" Aumen.  All seems well on the ground at the Airport.  No damage.  Flight tour will go on as scheduled. ;D

It is missing the guages though as jordonj said, but I downloaded the yellow one from the French site, haven't installed it yet.

MCairjockey , is that an upgraded fog or is it the default ? If it's the default , I may be planning to fly in it  ;) ;) ;).

That was real-time weather from the weather station closest  to St Augustine (default fs9) dialed in for when I was there.  I thought it did look pretty good.

Did putting the gauges in the folder I mentioned solve part of the problem?

Nice shots, by the way ;D
