Your mistake was that the .jpg suffix was capitalized (.JPG). The forum is case sensitive. It happens all the time...

I use the date, the number of that shot for that day, and then my initals after it, to avoid confusion. It sounds bulky, but it's not. For instance, the first one today would've been 09010401kr.
