Toronto to Toronto......Part 39
10 AM, After our engine was repaired because of an incident with an ugly bird earler on, Davy and i decided to give our plane a good cleaning from nose to tail
. We paid for the repairs on our plane ($500), and brought it to our parking spot
. while sitting in the plane and planning out our next stops we were suddenly attacked by a group of baboons that were out to get our (Splash's) screech
. apparently the primates are hooked on alcohol because of an accident that happened years ago when a truck loaded with South African whiskey was involved in a crash with an elephant, the tanker tipped over and spilled the whole contents
. The baboons were the first ones at the site and practically drank all of the whiskey and have been tormenting the people of Freetown and it's visitors (us)
. While Davy was trying to fight off the baboons that were chewing on his boots and nibbling on his socks, i managed to get the engines started and directed Davy to kick that monkey in the teeth and close the door
. We have to get out of here Davy screamed, i radioed for clearance.......waiting for a reply from the tower.............
.

We finally got our clearance to take off and leave those sick monkeys behind yoo hoo
.

Flying under the warm sun of Sierra Leone, and dressing our wounds from fighting baboons
.

Flying over the town called Hastings, still in Sierra Leone.

Approaching Roberts International (GLRB) airport in Monrovia, Liberia
.

Perfect landing with two engines (sigh)
.

A nice shot of us parked here at Roberts International, we're here for a short stop to pickup some supplies buy some diet pepsi and other pop. Davy is going to buy a cooler for the plane that you can plug in
. It would be nice to keep the screech cold for a change
. There are some guys here in the general store that keep asking us if we can drop off a parcel in Ghana, they are willing to pay a lot of money($1500) for our services if we do it
.The money would be nice but hmmmmm, Davy and i need to think about it before we get in to it.

Want to know whats going to happen???. Stay tuned, it will unravel soon. Happy flying
