Toronto to Toronto.....Part 26

Postby ludo62 » Wed Aug 25, 2004 12:43 pm

6 AM, after making the decision to retutn the Eclipse 500 back to my granddaddy, he said that if i wanted a new Beechcraft Twin Bonanza he would give me one he bought about a month ago from a guy who couldn't afford the maintenance on it. The plane is located in Valencia and should be here in one and a half hour from now ;D. Am i glad i'm getting my Beechcraft back, i know that the Eclipse was more refined and technologicaly advanced, it can't take the place of my beloved Beechcraft Twin Bonanza. I just received a call from E-bay that somebody had bought my old (and broken) Beechcraft Twin Bonanza for a very good price his name apparently is Ben ;D. So that money shoud pay for my gas and needed suppies on my trip :D......... My plane has just arrived, it's tank has been filled for free by the guy who delivered the plane ( isn't that nice ;)).The plane is completly ready for take off ;D.
Image
Taking off from Lisbon airport, man doesn't this feel great to be back in a Beechcraft Twin Bonanza yoo hoo.

Flying over one of many bridges in Lisbon (Portugal).
Image
Leaving Portugal's mainland and heading to Madeira Island (LPMA).
Image
Flying over a peaceful Atlantic ocean, just me and the wind carrying me to Madeira 8).
Image
Flying over one of Madeira's islands called Puerto Sancta Cruz, it can only be reached by ferry from Madeira which you can see in the background, what a breathtaking view don't you agree ???.
Image
Approaching Madeira Island with only a population of 20,000 people ;).
Image
Time to land on this paradise island somewhere in the Atlantic ocean (look at the water, it just makes you want to jump in :o).
Image
I made a great landing and parked myself right next to the gas station to see how much fuel the plane used.........wow this one uses even less than my old Beechcraft ;). The water looks very inviting so i'm going for a dip in the Atlantic ocean (maybe i'll see some sharks  :o). When i'm done splashing around and acting (who says i'm acting) like a fool, i'll look for a place that serves native food and hopefully without oysters  ;D ;D.
Then when thats done i'm flying to Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) to meet my friends Sandy,Davy and Andres as we agreed to do in Iceland :). So i'm off for my dip and then stuff my face ;D ;D.
Image
I'll be back soon kiddies :D. Happy flying .

Ludo :)

I just received a call from E-bay that somebody had bought my old (and broken) Beechcraft Twin Bonanza for a very good price his name apparently is Ben ;D.

Ben Stieglitz is his name, and he did not buy the aircraft for himself, but rather as a represenative for a certain Marcus Nicholson Dearborn III (you may not remember, he was that inconsiderate clod who landed his Mooney in front of Dana's Glider...I told of it in this chapter.  Marcus was in the market for one, and I heard he was so very proud of his find...as for the aircraft's problems, well I won't tell if you won't! ;D

Is it a coincidence, or was did someone..steer Ben in the direction of that aircraft?

The world will never know ;D
