Toronto to Toronto......Part 19

Postby ludo62 » Mon Aug 23, 2004 6:58 pm

I found the home (the hangar) of my longtime friend Jean-Pierre, and you know how french men greet, they hug and rub their faces together (yuk, i never liked that part of France :P). He did have a surprise for me, he just finished putting the final touches on his pride and joy a Hawker Sea Fury in a bright red livery :o :o . And on top of all that great stuff it has smokepods aswell. Then on top of everything he wanted me to test fly it, of course i didn't say no :D. Yoo hoo

Look at that takeoff, awsome power all at my disposal 8).

Making use of the smokepods wooooooooooow  :o.

Looking down on Paris from the virtual cockpit 8).

Eiffel tower flyby that was a little risky but i made it :).

Perfect landing with this wonderful bird :o.

Parked in front of his work place (hangar). I realy felt as free as a bird up there in the clouds, too bad it was over so fast  >:( . But Jean-Pierre assured me that i could come back at any time and fly it as much as i wanted (is that a friend or what). I tried to offer Jean-Pierre some fried bologna, he tried a piece and suddenly started barfing his head off, apparently a  French stomach is not as strong as a Canadian's ;D ;D. So i offered him a glass of milk to put his stomach at ease, he refused the milk and said that wine helps best (yeah right). Time to move on and say goodbye to Jean-Pierre and get back in my Twin Bonanza and continue to fly to Marseille (still in France) :D.

More to come, stay tuned girls and boys ;). Happy flying

Ludo :)
