Toronto to Toronto........Part 14

Postby ludo62 » Sun Aug 22, 2004 12:30 pm

9 AM, i found the supplies i was looking for in a grocery store in a village close to the airport, i also checked out the local hardware store and asked some information about having a washroom on the plane. The guy (who was very rude) told me that i first needed to lose 50lbs because he thought that i couldn't bend down far enough to sit on it. I quickly gave this guy the Canadian rub ( you don't want to know what it is because it hurts  ;D). So i think having my own toilet on the plane is not possible :( . Ready to go to Dyce airport (EGPD) in Aberdeen Scotland.
Image
Leaving the Faroe Island behind me yoohoo ;D

Flying over the northern part of the North Sea in the all too familiar English fog, where's the light tower HELP :o .
Image
At last the Scottish coastline in the fog but still nice ;)
Image
Beautiful Scottish countryside  :).
Image
Time to land at Dyce airport  ;)
Image
I made a soft landing without causing any damage this time (lucky me). I need to find a store that sells real Scottish bagpipe music on cd for my wife, if i return without one she'll skin me alive ;D . I'm also gonna spend some time in one of Aberdeen's local tavern's and enjoy some real Scottish Guinness beer and whatever snack that comes or goes with it. Received a message from my friends Sandy, Andres and Davy that they safely landed in Friesland in the northern part of Holland and were eating holland cheese called Edammer and drinking Heiniken beer (yuk it tastes like pee), they said that they're saving a piece of cheese for me :D . After i've completed all of that it will be noon and time to fly to Dublin Ireland. I hope Splash's package with Fried bologna and beer have arrived, im already getting hungry talking about it ;). Off to Dublin yoohoo ;D
Image
More to come you plane lovers, stay tuned ;D. Happy flying .
