On My Way (Don't Know Where I'm Going) 33

Postby jordonj » Sun Aug 22, 2004 10:18 pm

Man, with all the advances in ergonomic technology, you'd think they'd make the chairs more comfortable to sleep in :-/  .  I dozed off and on until 5:30, when I gave up, drank some coffee, and decided to go.

Since MCAirjockey probably won't be up before 7 (I would think, coupled with the fact I'd rather not fly for too long with the lack of sleep, I'm only going to fly as far as Greenwood Mun (KHFY...sounds too much like coffee)...about a 1/2 hour flight

Well, after such a pleasant night >ha ha NOT< I got ready to go (miraculously, security never harassed me).  I got out and fueled up at the fuel farm (and shot this)...

I told you this was big, I know in the last chapter, but did I say it was also busy?

In the end, I made it up by about 5:45...

My path took me by the downtown, where I could observe it at night.  In addition, I also had the privilege of witnessing a noice sunrise:

And Indianapolis Speedway (too bad there's not a race on!)

This time some pilot shot these of me (though I didn't know it at the time...) Andre, whom I would meet at my next stop.  They were nice shots, so I included them  (Though I ended up having to crop them quite a bit to make them fit the 500k limit)...

When I got there at about 6:30, after getting permission, I sacked out there on the grass till it got too hot to sleep (about 9:45 or so).  Then I went to get some breakfast.  Feeling invigorated, I began to get ready to go down to Henderson City (KEHR)...

Real nice shots!  Love that little plane,  :) think I'm gonna try to find it, if it's compatible with Fs2002.
