I know it's been some time since I updated, but my story will tell you why.  I'm currently in Lansing uploading from my Father's machine (and it is slow too )

Hokay, after staying with my Cousin, I left for Chicago Friday evening after 4:30 (mainly to get away from my Cousin's Mother-in-Law, who keep trying to set me up with some "nice lady" that she knows )



Along the Platte River...



I can't quite remember if this was in Nebraska or Illinois (hey, it was 2 days ago :-/ what can I say?)



And my first view of one of the busier airports in the US...



I took some shots of downtown Chicago and O'Hare, but I will post them in seperate threads....I'll put a link to them in after I post them...

As I was on final, I saw this heavy come right over me



The tower told them to go around, but that's still not a good feeling (good thing my bladder was empty at the time)...



It was a long, complicated taxi, but I got to where I was parking.





I was done a little after 7:00.  After that, all I had to do, was get something to eat and a place to sleep.  The trouble was that all the nearby motels and hotels cost too much!  I finally surrendered to having to sleep in one of the seats at the gate!  Needless to say, I neither slept very well, nor stayed very long .
