Toronto to Toronto.....Part 8
Posted: Fri Aug 20, 2004 7:34 pm10AM, i received a message just before i left Hopedale that Lake Harbour's landing strip was damaged because of the nasty weather they've been having lately. So i have to make a detour to Aupuluk (CYLA) in Quebec. They say that the seal blubber is highly recommended if you're looking for a good meal. I think i'm going to pass on that, because the thought of using depends again(the runs!!!!) gave me terrible memories. I will see what will happen when i get there

Approaching Aupuluk Airport, if i can find it ???
Landing on a very short landing strip
Once i landed and parked i was greeted by native Canadian called Chief Waitondo, He was going to show me the people that live in a small village close by. I had a good time in Aupuluk, the people are very friendly and humble but their food really needs major improvement. So after smoking the peace pipe with the Chief it was time to move on to my next destination point Pangnirtung (CYXP)
