An Indian Summer?...Fat chance...!

It's Sunday, and a lovely sunny day, so I'm off for a spin in my Sopwith Camel feel-alike.....
...my motor-bike......
...!
...wind in the hair...flies in the teeth, etc, etc....!
Catch you all when I get back......!
....You may remember that when I started off this morning on my bike I told you that the weather was lovely and sunny...
That's what the Weather Man told me..."trust me he said..."
It was, at the time...

Well, half an hour after I left that all changed.
Someone, up there, decided to empty the bath water all over me..
Never trust a Weather Man who says "trust me"...
So here I am peering into driving rain, getting seriously wet and cold...
Car drivers are purposely driving through flooded dips in the road to soak me...as they do...
Little children are sat in the back seat, poking their tongues out, and sticking their fingers up...as they do...

This is what it looks like through my goggles.
Remember, they haven't invented windscreen wipers for goggles yet...!

Must plough on, I think, it may stop raining soon..Fat bleedin' chance...

Buggar this, for a game of soldiers. My leathers are wet through, my hands are freezing cold, I can't see through my goggles for the mud all over them...
I'm 30 miles from home and it's not getting any better..

Who on earth would ride a motor bike under these sort of conditions, and secretly enjoy it..?
Fozzer? Who else...!

So...!
This is what it's like in a Sopwith Camel under similar conditions..!
Cheers all...!
Paul.
just drying all my kit out at the mo'...!
...doin' it again tomorrow...!
LOL...LOL...LOL..!
P.S. If you REALLY want to look like a Take-san, leather-clad (with tassels), hairy arsed, fat bellied, bearded, tattooed, bandanna/shades wearing, prat on a Harley-Davidson look-alike motorcycle, then pop over to our mates at Avsim and ask them for an "Indian".
They will be more than pleased to off-load one of these sad monstrosities* on you, rather than a nice, sensible, Honda superbike...!
...like I've got...(Really)...

LOL...!
*over here in England they only venture out under cover of darkness...

LOL...LOL...LOL...!
