Well, its been awhile sence I have been able to fly anywhere.  Its been a hectic couple weeks of more computer problems and working.  But things are slowly getting back to normal.  For now.  I decided it was time to take a small trip back home.  I made it to Washington Dulles Intl. earlier today.  

Its 10:30 AM as we hold short of runway 8L.

About 2/3 down the runway AF28 heavy begins its 8 hour journey to Washington.

Cruising at 36,000 feet not long after entering Canadian airspace.

Touchdown runway 1L KIAD.

12:05 PM and finaly parked at the gate.  We arived about 40 minutes early.  I'm heading for a hotel then its off to my home town.  After that I'm not sure

I never noticed that till now.  Taken almost 8 hours apart and still look similar.  If it wasnt for the scenery change and the smoke it would look almost like the same shot.  Flying that route I only lost 2 hours so its almost the same lighting.  Guess I'm going to have to try more angles for every shot.  But they really are 2 different places and times

Well I finaly made it home.  I took off from KIAD at 8 this morning in a Lear bound for Fort Wayne, IN.   About a hundred miles outside FWA I had to divert due to a storm that had moved in.  Sence the storm was mostly in FWA I decided that I would just go ahead and change my coarse for Wabash.  It was only 30 miles out of the way and it was closer anyway.  But I cant say the weather was a whole lot better.  High winds and a sudden downdraft on aproch nearly sent us crashing to the ground.  But we made it to the runway safely.  So I'm now spending a couple days visiting then I decided to treat my self to a 3 day vacation to St. Maarten.  But then its back to Washington and finaly Paris.

I only have 1 shot due to some computer problems so here it is.
