On My Way (Don't Know Where I'm Going) 8

And here we are turing back towards Wyoming...
And at this point we were on approach back to KGCC. Here was where Frank told me that I was going to do the landing. Then he just leaned back!! He wouldn't answer when I spoke to him. Needless to say, I was not happy, but when you're in the soup, you just have to swim...
Touchdown...
And the tailwheel. I did manage to stay on the runway...
I got us parked and the very satisfied customers got off the plane. I wouldn't admit it to Frank at the time...but landing that plane was a thrill.
After that, Frank took me and his wife Ruby and we went for drinks (he wouldn't take "no" or "I don't drink" for an answer...), Guess I won't be flying again till around 1:00 pm or so tomorrw (24 hours from bottle to throttle...)
Well, I've got to say that this plane does acts like a plane should. Clumsy on the ground, but in the air it's truly a thing of beauty as it's doing what it was made to do!!!
