The guy who owned it, a charter pilot named Frank, saw me looking and we got to talking. I'm sort of well-known among the pilots here after my interesting landing a few days ago. It turned out that he is a charter tour pilot who takes people to see Mt Rushmore, and he needed a copilot. I'm not one to turn down paying work, but I've never flown anything larger than a Beechcraft Baron, and never a taildragger! Frank told me not to worry, that he would be right there with me. He also said that he was impressed with how well I handled myself when I got into trouble landing: "You got down safely in the end...didn'tcha?"
So we were off. Here we are flying a course of 011 from KCUT. Just our luck! There turned out to be low clouds over the area!

Wait, I think I see it! About at our 11:00!

That's it all right!

I got another shot of what I assume to be the badlands..

Here we are over KCUT again, and we decided to go for another pass...

And here you go!

Our passengers got some REAL shots that time on their cameras!
