When I take shots at night, I end up with shots like this:



and this:



While browsing, I saw this:



Do you have any suggestions on how I can get my night shots to look like the third one?

my guess would be to turn on the taxi and landing lights.........Air

I just tryed it with a DC-3 just the runway lights up.Must have something to do with the "model" of plane.Maybe the commercial airliners have that kind of lighting........Air

it's very tricky getting night shots i think probably the best thing to do is take your shots from the light side of the sky shortly
after the old current bun goes down.. therfore you still get that touch of needed light.
otherwise your pics will end up too dark..
but don't forget your pics also look a million times better before the resize ect
