Yesterday i arrived in Frankfurt am Mainz in Germany.

Since a had some time aspare i went to the general aviation site Hannau-airport closeby. There i saw this strange bird, wich seemed to be a product of the Companhia aeronautica Neiva, the Paulistinha. A Brazilian product, i just had to try...

Reminded me of the Piper Cub somehow...

Forgot to switch on the radio ( ahum) and went down to the big airport to fool around...




All i wanted to do was check out some of those nice birds...







For safety reasons i had the radio on by now, and man, did those atc-guys know how to offend me in English and German...  ;D

So i took off to avoid further agitation...



... and went into the patern to land at Hannau again...



... and get out as quickly as possible...



However, that didn't succeed. As i climbed out of the plane, some fast german greenish cars with POLIZEI written on them came to a screaming halt next to me. I was surprised by half a dozen healthy German blokes who took me in for the night ... behind bars...

Say, anyone from this area to bail me out?. Cause my hairy cellmate Heinz is giving me some mighty suspicious looks ...

as a matter of fact, Paulistinha is a Piper Cub with small modifications, it was one of the 1st projects of a factory that was starting, a pioneer, called Neiva, another success a/c were released but then Embraer came and bought Neiva, and for a certain peroid of time the Paulistinha was upgraded but......the production was finished few years later, and that was a tremendous mistake IMO cs the airclubs die for this lil bird due to her the flight behaviour.
