Its tyre marks from a badly bounced and particularly heavy landing. I've seen it once when I dead-sticked an An-225 and pogo'd :o :-[ ;D

Ozzy ;)

I've never seen it happen before. I'd guess that'd go under the catogory of a bug. Pretty cool though. I saw smoke and the chopper jumped into the air. And that's how those got there.

By the way Ozzy, how'd you dead-stick that An-225? That HAD to be cool to watch, unless it was in real life.

You tend to get those marks during a replay.

I'd been doing my usual aerobatic routines in my 225 (flying inverted under bridges etc), and I was lining up into LAX when I ran out of fuel (always set quite low for aerobatics, weight and all that) :-[ :-[ :-[

I've gotten those things before. Especially when I just try to "stall" the plane onto the runway.

Ozzy, Ouch......... :o :o :o :o :o :o ;D Oh, yeah, I had this TEXTBOOK landing in the King Air 350. ;D ;D (that was after a go-around 'cuz a Cessna was too lazy to get off the runway at ATL. In jets,  especially the F-16, I try to land at around 850 kts. Good thing it isn't real life.  ;)
