I place pictures and they get deleted so they cant be viewed!
And i get critisism for the pictures rather than appreciation!
I sell Flightsim pc's and i recommend this site to all my customers, but i have very strong feelings against the respect within this forum! "Freedom of speech" there you have it!

Well, if they are deleted, its probably because they are over the size limit per picture, or too many on a thread, etc.

As for criticisms, take both the positive and the negative and weigh them equally. Some can take shots that are consistently gorgeous (Ramsa, Lemoncat, Fly2e), some can take most good and a few bad, and some can take mainly bad shots. Its not exactly easy, and takes some artistic integrity, for composition, color, detail of the shot, etc limited to your system's specs. Not everyone has a top of the line system so someone running on a low end computer can still take some quality shots, and people will praise them because even though the level of detail isn't there, the composition is.

sometimes my shots get 'negative' criticism, but its all about learning to make them better.

I think everyone that posts screenshots appreciates any people offer, but they also will be critical of them whether positive or negative (in a constructive way)

I agree totally with what Savas said. Just to make this post legit:

Negative critisism is needed - otherwise how are you gonna do any better?

Also I suggest you use more complicated file names. har02.jpg is not complex enough and will probably get overwritten.

Yes, when I make a screen capture I name it something like Cessna SaVas or Cessna 1 SaVas so the chance of someone using the same name is minescule

Yeah that's something I meant to say. Putting your username/screename in the filename of the picture is one of the best things to do ;)

Mohawk,
You take very nice shots. Don't worry about it too much. I personnally like to give positive feedback but I also respect those that give constructive (negative) feedback as well. I have been on here for a little over a year now. In that time, I think I have improved alot. If everyone had said that my shots where amazing everytime, I don't think I would have improved as much. I know what its like to get your nose out of joint a little, especially after putting in hard work and time to create your best shot! For what its worth, I think that you and your shots are an excellent adition to this site.
Keep up the great work and just remember, you can't please everyone. Just look at famous people, for every fan they make, 3 more people are saying "they suck". If people are talking about you, it usually means you've made some kind of impact!!

Hi Mohawk. I promise they aren't being deleted on purpose, however if they do exceed the limits permitted the server will automatically delete them.
And like the guys say the filename is important, I kept having newbies wipe out my avatar a while back ;D I'd picked a pretty simple and silly name S1!!! In the words of a certain member of the Simpsons clan DOH ::) ;D
Also if you put something like 26 shots in a thread then the mods have to delete them (no names mentioned on this offender ::)).
Its nothing personal, we just have to keep to the limits prescribed, and BTW I love that BA 747, where did you get the paintjob? Its cool 8)
