Omag goes Papparazzi...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Fri Jun 11, 2004 2:33 pm

On my last fligth i intended to shoot some landscape pictures...

But all of the sudden we were zapped by a gorgeous Spitfire Mk IXe.

Image

I just knew this must have been Ozzy, cause we heared the "mad Hungarian" was in the neighbourhood. So we went in for a closer look and i took these shoots...

Image

Image

Apparently this pilot didn't like the idea of someone else reading his gauges over his shoulder, so he tried to shake us off.

Image

With one breathtaking manoever after the other he tried to get away... Vertical climb....

Image

Since my pilot was a very good one he managed to stay with the spit... So the "target" decided to take it down, way down...

Image

Unfeared he plunged closer and closer to the earth...

Image

... and stunned us by shooting over the surface of a lake at high speed...

Image

After this we decided to give the guy a break and leave him... didn't wanna cause another "Diana"-incident.

In the end i never got a positive ID on the pilot, but judging the style, this just might have been the illusive Mark "Ozzy72" on a stroll...

The end!   ;D

Paul Rebuffat is the author... found it on flightsim.com but could be around here to. Be sure to download the P-51 renoracer for the gauges...

I deny everything ;D ;D ;D
Oh and all of Pauls models are over at Sim-Outhouse in the CFS2 downloads section and work in FS2k2 and FS9 perfectly ;) I know, I have them all in my hangar ;D ;D ;D

I have the same model but the landing gear doesn't show up. It's really strange landing with a ghost U/C  ???
