There is one of those sitting at Toronto Airport turned into a restaurant...not sure whether it is still open or not but the aircraft is still there.

Same here... Is it normal to here strange rattleing noises while in the air on a DC-9

Sounded like the whole plane was going to fall apart

Of coarse, that was over 6 years ago.
