Skiing in the Cascades?

Is this skiing or sliding or what?  Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee, sure is a lot of fun.  Saw a float plane do this awhile ago on Discovery Wings for real from a snow capped mountain.

Thats good. That actually really happened back in WWII. Hitler rescued Mussolini off a prison which was on a mountain. The pilot did something even more daring. He went off a vertcal edge, built up speed as he plummeted down, before pulling up. I heard the nazi soldiers who parachuted down and freed him were hoding their hearts in their mouths! Not sure how they got home. ::)
