The woman and unborn were in a critical condition. The woman had severe head injuries and needed to be ventilated. It was touch and go as to wether we should deliver the baby in the ambulance before takeoff but the Doc decided that the baby would be better off where it was untill he could get more equipment.

Back on our way and the ambulance driver caught this shot as we passed overhead.

The storm clouds where building as we headed home.

Things started to get a little bumpy and the baby decided that it wanted out.... there was no where closer to land so we pressed on for home.

Landed safely and taxied as quickly as possible to the waiting ambulance.. The womans condition had worsened and the baby was struggling too having been born 5 minutes before touchdown.

Transfered both patients to the ambulance and off for a nice cup of tea and to study the books on midwifery.


Latest news .... The Baby is doing well. However Mum isnt doing so well and although the Doc's think she will recover its going to take months and there are no guarantees that she will be 100%. The Doc's think she may have suffered some brain damage but they remain hopefull.

Ozzy's wife is expecting a baby,ya know and he didn't like the thought of his wife having complications like the woman in eno's story.

Ozzy, make sure that you don't drop your kid into some alcohol, otherwise he/she will grow up to be just like his daddy
