So life is pretty good at the Maravillas Gap Ranch where I am staying after my crash landing!  ;D

I had a local mechanic look at the engine and it turns out one of the piston rings was worn out and that caused an oil pressure seal to give out.  ;D
But after calling Beechcraft, they were generous enough to have the parts flown out to me!
So here are some pics of the Ranch and the delivery of the parts!

The Huey on arrive to the ranch...


I was very happy to see it arrive so I ran out to greet the pilot!


This is a very nice Ranch so after I got the part I decided to show him around a bit.


Nice horsy! The owner of the ranch was gracious enough to take us for a trail ride too!

It turns out the rancher has a little Bell huey of his own and so he thought it would be nice to get a wide angel shot of the whole area!


So hopefully I can get the Baron fixed in the next couple days and be on my way again. But I have to say....things are pretty nice around here!  ;D

Those are unique shots Dean. Seems that your trip has taken on a "lighter" side of life. Grab a cowboy hat, put a piece of straw between you teeth, kick up the ol boots and gather round the camp fire,....The Captain is Coming Out Tonight!

Just double check everything in the morning!, Oh and don't wake up in Ol' Lucky's stable in the morning, you don't want to be picking horse hairs out of you teeth!  ;D
