Good to see that one of the nine people on earth who can even run LOMAC is also a FS enthusiast.  Good shots!

Nice to see something different. Scott what is the problem with Lock-On? And before you ask I've never even seen it for sale here so I know nothing...

LOMAC tends to run quite slowly, even on faster PCs. It could have been such a nice game, but nooo...the developers want another 14 $ for a manual and they left out a campaign for the german MiG-29s... >:(

Oz, like Exploder said, the game doesn't run very well, even on medium-high to high-end machines.

My P4 2.0 with 640mb of RAM, for example.  Not exactly the fastest computer in the world, but far from the slowest either.

I installed the demo long ago and got about 2 fps with big black blotches all over the screen...you couldn't even see out the window.

And of course there is no documentation, so figuring out the menus was pretty much trial and error.

Glad I didn't buy it, because I later was informed (as Exploder also mentioned) that if you want the manual you need to shell out another $14.

It had all the potential in the world, and they blew it. :'(

Not to start or keep the debate going on Lock On being great or bad.  Obviously from my screen shots and smilies, I am having a great experience with Lock On. ;D

Like I have said, it is all a matter of compromises.  Even though you may think you have a high end machine, you can still get the most out of a game by reducing some of the features.

You may find plenty of tweaks at the Lock On website.

It is really a terrific game in my opinion.  The learning curve is pretty high as far as remembering what to do and not do in a combat aircraft.  Granted there could always be imporvements, but we say the samething about FS9. ;D

Thank you for looking at the screenshots.  This is a great forum to be able to accept every type of flight sim game. ;D

Great pics  8) .

Yeah I had problems with the demo, for some reason it would never respond to any joy-buttons even though the axes worked fine  ??? .
