Puma on Approach

Downloaded this awesome heli available here at Simviation.

FS2004 Westland/Aerospatial AS330 Puma HC1, An original FSDS2 by Brian Franklin. The Puma has been the workhorse of battlefield support helicopters in the Royal Air Force since the early 1970's. It is 9MB.

I love her in the 230Sqn colours, but then that is the Sqn I was with in W.Germany ;D Gosh that gives away just how ancient I am :-[
Great chopper to fly in, I'll try and find some of my old photos and get them scanned, got a great one of the bosses Puma in Tiger Meet colours 8)

Thanks very, very much.
This is one of the nicest Helicopters I have flown yet., IMHO.
I found this little airport off the Coast of Alaska. Sitka is it's name. Really nice scenery and many mountains, valleys and rivers to follow. I have been there for over a week. The shots above were taken as I was returning from a patrol in Sitka's National Park.

Those shots inspired me to get the Beast. I'm not really too into choppers, but I think this one is cool to fly.

(It's still hard for me to land it)

Do you guys turn the realism down a tad when flying choppers? I find them ridiculously difficult at full realism!

Congo if you are only just learning helos then turn the torque right off until you get the hang of the controls ;)
A great place to master them is http://members.shaw.ca/hoversafe/Hoversafe.htm just go through their tutorials ;)

Ozzy, I was a 33 Sqn man myself, thats what prompted me to design her.
