Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket

The Grumman Skyrocket was developed just before WW2 and was the first twin engine Navy fighter.It had awesome performance for its day, it was fast (exceeded 450mph in a dive) and could outclimb a Corsair. :) :)

the flight was around Raf Scampton...
a great plane for it's era :)

radeon-4700pro- gig ram -2.3ghz -21"monitor
settings on medium...and lots of tweaks..
soon to be completely upgraded. ;D

great suff lemoncat.....heheeehehe that was one of my first repaints 8) i've been working on a new version of that plane....

she's tricky to land cuz of the props..... the navy should've ordered her instead of the wildcat :P

I used to have that plane in CFS2, It would look good if the nose was a bit longer and the canopy wasn't so agricultural!  ;)
