Miegs Field .... alas no more heres my tribute ... a wittle airshow for the residents of Chicago. ;D
The aircraft is a Zlin a 1970s aerobatic aircraft ... the paint job is ficticious (someone advertising their own buisness me thinks  ;) )
Enough drivel ..... heres the pics.

A nice loop to start  8)

Soooo thats why the paint job is like that  ::) .....

....and that  ::)

More twists and turns  :o

The finale ....... almost .... but not quite  :-[Image
Short final.

Done and dusted.

The compression has caused a loss in quality on these :'( ...... I know I'm getting picky now  ::)

enjoy

Nice flying eno :)

The Zlin which you say was manufactured around 1970 almost looks like a single seat modified Chipmunk.

Do you know if the Zlin was used for military or by civilian flight schools.

Very nice looking aeroplane...Thanks for posting it :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

@eno:

Try PixResizer,it's free and quite good,but not as good as Photoshop.

@Doug: The Zlin 526 was used for both civil and military training and it was the best aircraft for aerobatics in the 1960s, until the Pitts and Aerostars came up.

Some nice shots there. I downloaded that plane but I haven't had a chance to fly it yet.

I use Corel Photohouse 2.1 for image touch up. It's good and easy to use but it's not free. It came with my office pack.

Try looking through the iFDG "Ultimate Freeware List". There are links there to some really interesting programs and utilities. You might just find a decent photo editer there.
