After a hassle free departure from a small local Airport with some Oil Workers going up North I noticed some high engine temps and low oil pressure on my No2 Engine just as I was beginning my decent to the nearest Airport I heard it go Bang, I quickly pulled the fire handle and shut it down a declared an Emergency Landing luckily it all ended safely.

Well Done on the landing and the emergency J41.

Lucky you were in a "Twin Otter" and not an "Otter DHC-3" as they only had one engine.

The "Otter DHC-3" was and probably still is the best all round Bush Aeroplane ever built and now they have put a turbine on it.

Great shots as well...Thanks for posting them.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug :)
