I'm trying to fix the air file for this kite so it doesn't land like a kangaroo on speed, but flies faster than a snail with arthritis..... Still fiddling ::)
But she looks good ;D

Ozzy, she has a droop snoot. Assign keys to raise and lower concorde nose and try it on this bird. Also, when flying in DVC crank your seat up a bit so you can see out. ;D

Oh yeah, don't forget shift+F4 for afterburners that make a difference. And have you made it go faster yet? ;D

Woodie whenever I make her go faster the landing problems get worse. I'm seriously considering starting from scratch with this. The .air and .cfg seem to be conflicting badly. I'll let you know ;)

Ozzy

Ps. I know about the drooping nose etc. Just not in these shots, I was trying to sort the speed, but the landing was so bad I didn't dare post any shots for shame :-[

I know that speed and bouncing is interlinked. Get her down to around 100kmh before landing. I did this and i only bounced 100yards or so beyond the runway. I made the bouncing far less severe by changing the damping ratio on the suspension from 2 to 1.5. I suggest you try that if you havn't already.

Also, if you could fix the air brakes so you don't go into a dive when you hit the spoilers key, that would be great.

Oh yeah with the afterburner afterburners you can squeeze another 100kmh out of her. Just. ;D

I'm testing and adjusting like a madman. I promise you'll be the first to test fly my results Woodie ;)
Then you can tell me what I missed :P ;D
