Vomit Comet (Part1)
Posted: Thu Apr 22, 2004 10:14 amReady for departure from Exeter to the Isles of Scilly with a front heading in, the weather at my destination was going to be marginal for landing. I made the decision to fly hoping to beat the front to St mary's.
A couple of shots taken by a spotter as I took off the skys where starting to look threatning even then.
Up at cruising altitude and getting buffeted about the sick bags where being used by the dozen. :-/
A shot from a passenger with the cloud building up.
Approaching Lands End and the weather takes a turn for the worse but conditions are supposed to be improving at St Mary's so I plough on.
