Shock horror, I was spotted in a glider!!! Flying between Benton and Brize Norton....

nice shots Mark...i know the 'tree-are-getting-bigger-really-fast'-feeling very well.

maybe i'll fly my first solo flight in a real glider later this month...i hope the trees won't grow too fast then

Good luck on the solo Ken ;) One tip, wear leather gloves, you'll be able to hold onto the stick without being overly tight on the controls. The first solo is always a sweaty palms job ;)

Tell me about it Paul, its the whole lack of an engine thing that keeps me off gliders these days. I flew them as an Air Cadet many millenia ago, but after discovering the joys of the de Havilland Chipmunk and how much more scary fun you could have with an engine..... and live to tell the tale of course ;) ;D

why cant you fly a plane without turning it upside down somewhere along the line lol?

still.. nice shots. be nicer with a merlin somewhere, dontcha think?  8)
