From doubt to deed.........
Posted: Fri Apr 09, 2004 2:08 pmWith some comments of " Put up or Shut up " being thrown around, I felt I better make another attempt to satisfy my curiosity about whether or not its feasible to make a pass under the nozzles of the Shuttle before it fired up its huge engines and fried all of us daring doers around the launch complex........and now with proof in hand, I have to bow to the flying of Pippin.....it seems he may have made it under, although in the veil of smoke which obscures some important parts of the pass..........here is my attempt through there with an even smaller A/C and I find there is no way I can get my plane to get by that fin, as it hangs even lower than the fence I went through, upon exit from the impending rocket blast area..........unless........hmmmmmm
