Went to Florida......

Postby Rifleman » Sat Mar 27, 2004 11:44 pm

Was wondering how things were progressing at the Cape, so I thought I would go and take a first hand look to see if the next launch was on the pad yet ?... ???

NICE, NICE, NICE!!!

Is that an add-on scenery or comes with FS2004?

BTW, just glad you didn't need the USAF escort service!! :D

Oh man, if that booster tried taking off as you went under you would be incincerated.

You know, I had an idea..I'm surprised no one tried this yet.  Wouldn't it be great to sync the dates and times in FS2004 so that it matches that of a real shuttle launch and if you are flying around the vicinity at that moment you can watch it take off???  How swet would that be!?

I guess I forgot my cardinal rule of having the smoke on to prove that there weren't any strikes from the A/C on the way through.....will remember from now on, to show a "clean" pass through my tasks............

Very nice.  It's surprising MS did such a nice job on the cape!

I'm off to fly under the pad!
