The route: Directly via GPS.
Further information: Cruising altitude: 52000ft AGL ; Cruising speed: Mach 2.30.

Taxiing to the runway and taking a last look on the airport.

Take-off. This point will now be called T0.

Received clearance from ATC for climb to cruising altitude. Speed is still subsonic,Mach 0.99.

Slowly climbing and leaving the East Coast behind. Speed will be increased to Mach 1.5 as soon as clearance was given from ATC.

The first light of the day over the atlantic ocean. Cruising altitude is reached, speed is increased to Mach 2.

Sun is rising quickly. Speed is now steadily at Mach 2.3.
