Land of the rising Kiwi

Postby ozzy72 » Wed Mar 03, 2004 4:50 am

A big thanks to Bazza for putting me onto a new mesh for his fair New Zealand, all I can say is WOW!!!! :o
The improvement is awesome, so I kicked my IX into life and went for a wonder...
Not the Grand Canyon, but fun ;D 8) ;D

Low enough, and I managed to wash a wing tip when I sneezed!!! Didn't cream in though ;)

Wringing the Merlin for altitude as I go feet-wet northwards

Safely down after a lovely flight, time for a cup of tea ;D

This mesh is fantastic, and really sorts out NZ, I think I'll be hiding in Bazzas neck of the woods for a while now (poor Bazza, his airspace won't be safe ;D :o ;D).
To get the mesh go to www.massey.ac.nz/%7eavweb/papers/fltsimdesign/index.htm click on scenery and go to the second page, you'll see a file at the top of the page NZ 150 mesh, it works fine in FS9 inspite of being listed as only for 2k and 2k2.
Happy flying ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

now that's more like it Ozzy! Have a proper aircraft in your life! You may safely forget ever flying a german prop. The Spitfire knows and rules all.

roar.

great shots btw. Fly a little higher next time maybe? lol
:D dano

Nice scenery pal, but a Spit looks good against any backdrop ;)

Good stuff Ozzie - I fly the same place in a real man's plane, I mean why would you only want one engine when you could have four ?

Step outside and listen to the Alisons echo off the cliffs...

I used to have some great shots of this area with lightning strikes caught as well, then I had 2 hard-drive crashs in 1 month and started Flight Simming again from zero.Image
