A nice little 737

Found this on AVSIM it looks great and flys well and the detail is ... well you can see for yourselves!!

She is a nice bird,
But I like this one a little better. :)
I painted her, Erick Cantu built her, and she'll be available for [glb]free [/glb]soon.

I just hope the fans move in this one.

I always flew FFX 737-200 but now i've discovered the yeodesigns. I like that on a little more.

I'm pretty sure it won't have moving fans.
The problem is that on the real aircraft, the first stage of fan blades are stationary, much like the ones on this MD-80 engine:

Unless you are at just the right angle and the fans are moving at a certain RPM, you'll NEVER see the rotating 2nd stage behind the stationary 1st stage.  
It was a modeling decision (and the correct one IMHO) to not put in frame-rate eating animations that you may never see. :)

The "stationary fan" you're talking about is in fact not a fan at all. It's called IGV, short for inlet guide vane.
One of its purposes is to direct the airflow so it hits the LP compressor (N1 stage) at the most efficient angle.

I think newer engines uses a similar technology, but the "IGV" is re-located behind the N1 stage, so you can't see it.
