today i downloaded the KLM livery for the Meljet 777-200. the repaint isn't so good, but the plane - as you all might know - is awesome!

i took off from Paris Charles de Gaulle (KLM's new home base  :P  :-/) and flew to Amsterdam Schiphol. the (real world) weather was awefull, 17kts crosswind.

That's just partly true.
Of all the 3 engine variants available for the 777, I guess only the GE90 comes close. It's fanblade diameter is about 10 feet...cabin width of the 737 is around 12 feet...or something like that, don't remember exactly.

Here's some funny pics though

I have a Boeing video that I bought in the Everet that says the 777 engine haves the same size of the 737 fuselage.
i guess it's clear to everyone

hmmm, in the Boeing vid you probably saw the 777-300, which i think has much larger engines. the one in these screenshots is the 777-200LR.

the KLM tripple sevens are called barbecue because of their registration which starts with: PH-BQ...(A, B, C or D) this should make it clear  ;)
