Thanks socks!

i was trying to see if I could reach 30,000 but she wasn't having it. The airspeed was dropping to low to maintain a controled flight! I got it to about 29,867 feet then she started dropping.

Guess we now have a service ceiling for this beauty. she is easy to fly and land! With practice  ;D!

You guys should give this one a try! It has retractable landing gears ( none of that pause then do gear up, then unpause the game)

it is high performance too flying at about 180 knots if you point it at the right angle.

The service ceiling like in the pic is around 29,860 feet!

What FS9 chopper can meet or beat that feet!

Those rocket textures are back for FS9 and you can put em on any aircraft! Some if your willing to do with out afterburner effects!

Well I tried & tried, but this thing wont fly at all.
nothing seems to be able to get the rpm to increase, the engine starts, but nothing will get the rotor to speed up to full, just sit's there at minimum rpm. :-/

Any advice Mav?

Sabrehawk,

I don't understand why she is not working for you. I gave you the full zip file that had the setup program within it. It should have told you to extract all components of the file into your FS9 directory. Once installed it should have had all components in place.

I got a question for you! Did you alter the file in anyway? Like for instance did you add this IB Rocket file to it and alter the aircraft CFG smoke system? If so that is what might be causing you problems.

In any case, worst case scenerio is you will have to go to the Helicopter download section here at SimV page 5 and you will see the Dolphin Coast Guard Chopperon the top of the page! Download a fresh copy and see what happens then.

Acutally that was the Sikorsky S-70 Aegen helicopter in the pic above. That too is another great download! It has shiny, glazed textures on it! Even though it looks kinda corny with the big front wheels, she flies really good and has a top speed of about 220 knots (faster then the Dolphin  :o)

I added the rocket IB_rocket file to it so that it can be an attack copter as well to protect the Dolphin on rescue missions in hostile areas in our online adventure FD3ops! yea there I go again trying to sell a product! ;)!

These downloads are making the adventure more realistic everyday! FD3 rocks in multiplayer mode!  ;D

it can be added to any aircraft that has a smoke system, I think you add the smoke system to the CFg and it will work anyhow Jared!
