LOL... I wasn't sure if I was in trouble or being praised...

he he remember when you were young and you used to duck because you didn't know whether your dad was about to pat you on the head for being good or swipe you round the ear for something you might have done that you didn't know about

No you were
totally right. I'd spent nearly all the time trying to make the scenery work (not gonna say how because it took me quite a while to work out) and I hadn't thought that folks would worry too much about the aircraft I was using. I'd had quite a few problems even finding the original F15 and I'd looked at and tried loads of planes.
But when you think about it (and you did, I didn't) it's obvious the planes have got to be right too if the package as a whole is gonna work.
So I looked some more and was lucky to come across this little beauty which I wouldn't have done otherwise. Also found a nice Hornet but it has afterburners that don't show and make the jet nozzles transparent when they fire but that's another story.

Now I can start pulling the whole thing together. Tell you what, I did a 12hr plan that takes the TCat from the Texas carrier to the Florida one and then on to the Provincetown boat and return. Had a few minutes today and watched it (using my Ctr-Q, Ctrl_W trick) from about 10 minutes/12000ft out for both of the landings. This is descending thru 12500 ft.

Amaaaaazing! I just loved it. When it arrived there were already local planes (Tomcat and Hornet) in the circuit doing touch and gos.
This package is gonna be a lot of fun.
