Hi there,
Here are some shots of the very familiar F-16, doing some very unfamiliar things. I hope you enjoy and comments are always welcome. 2 Thunderbirds performing an opposing solo airshow routine. No slewing was used and no F-16's where harmed during the making of these shots!!!
Thanks
Eric

Must be done with smoke and mirrors, as I see the same A/C number on the intake of both, when they are in the same image  ;).....and only one image shows opposing direction of flight by two planes, even if they are both Thunderbird #1.......... 8)

Thanks for the replies guys!

Rifleman, its real. I am flying with an AI F-16. Yes, it is the same plane, but I am flying one against the AI. No, it is definately not directly over an airport or anything. I'm not that good. The shot of the planes crossing, etc. where taken at about 20,000ft over ironically enough, Comox, near your neck of the woods. Its part of the AI pack by Planespotter, flying out of Comox. A few of the takeoff shots where taken flying out of Moosejaw, SK. Part of the same AI pack. Anyway, I can assure you that the flying is all very real and took me forever to get these shots. I must have flown past that AI F-16 in flight about 20 darn times. Anyway I hope you enjoyed them.
See ya
Eric

Erik, those are superb. Love the cockpit shots looking out the window! Very original. I felt as though I was sitting right there!

Eric, hope you didn't think I was pickin on ya ??? ....on the contrary, I was mentioning that its a shame the AI A/C didn't show a different unit number from the one you were flying  8).............and as for the "opposing" comment, the fact is, on the posted shots, only one image showed differing directions of aircraft, so the "opposing solos" were actually going the same way on most of your pics and not opposed at all..............the flying in tight was very good and much enjoyed........keep flying like that and you can give Ozzy a run for his money !   ;D
