Hello All,

I finished repainting my Twin-Otter and I wanted to take her for a test flight...But I need your suggestions!
What should I add?! What should  I take away?! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

For my test flight I headed out from Calgary and flew due south to Great Falls, Montana.
All in all she flew nice but she really gets blown around by the winds!

Firing up the engines...

Pushing back from the gate....

I had to wait for at least 20 minutes for all the incoming planes to land and then for everyone to clear out in front of me!
Image

Finally got clear and lifted off....this baby climbs REAL steep!

Close up of the repaint!
Image

Got her lined up on Runway 3 at Great Falls...
Image

Had to fight a crazy cross wind! This plane is sturdy but she really does get blown around alot for its size...
Image

Got her parked at the gates and talking over the flight with my co-pilot!

Thanks for watching and again....any suggestions or ideas on how to make this repaint better are greatly appreciated!

Looks very nice.
I'd personally leave her as is.

Great...I don't think I would change a thing :)

I noticed your second last shot....over the runway...have you tried to drop the wing from the direction the crosswind is blowing (from your left) and keep centre line aligned with rudder.
Your approach looked great with the crab into wind.
Just a couple of friendly tips...hope you don't mind.

Again nice pictures of a Great Aeroplane. :)

Cheers....Happy Landings....Doug
