Took off from Hong Kong International the other day.
Getting into our take off position behind this "little" 737!

Ascending to the skies.

Leaving Hong Kong's airspace.

Clearing the mountain range.

Approach was a little challenging. Here is what happens when you battle a heavy cross wind and try to put her down at the last minute. The passengers and crew got off safely. The only thing damaged was the pilot's pride! ;D

Very impressive shots. look at that little 737 compared to the beast in the first shot.
To bad about the fireworks at the end. But hey, i've done worse, a lot worse... :D

i adore the first shot! it's a nice angle. lots of famous photos at Kai Tak are taken with this angle...i can hardly say if this one is from the real VHHH or the FS VHHH. ;)

Fine Shots...Fine Shots

Some would say the 737 is the sports car of the Boeing
fleet!

Cheers...Happy Landings....Doug

Lol, Kai Tak is the name, but sadly it is now closed so its not in the scenery :'( .
It was the most difficult (and amazing) approach in the world.
