China Air take off......and a not so good landing!

Postby Fly2e » Thu Jan 29, 2004 8:54 am

Took off from Hong Kong International the other day.
Getting into our take off position behind this "little" 737!

Approach was a little challenging. Here is what happens when you battle a heavy cross wind and try to put her down at the last minute. The passengers and crew got off safely. The only thing damaged was the pilot's pride!  ;D

Very impressive shots. look at that little 737 compared to the beast in the first shot.

To bad about the fireworks at the end. But hey, i've done worse, a lot worse...  :D

Fine Shots...Fine Shots :)

Some would say the 737 is the sports car of the Boeing
fleet! :)

Cheers...Happy Landings....Doug

Lol, Kai Tak is the name, but sadly it is now closed so its not in the scenery  :'( .

It was the most difficult (and amazing) approach in the world.
