I still can't get ultra smooth looking pics like that! But then again when the sky is clear I do get some smooth looking pics!
What are your settings? Can you show me a screenshot of all your settings?
Aircraft, Weather, and Hardware.

Thank you all!
Mav, my computer specs are as follows:
Dell 8200, P4, 768 Mb RAM, 2 GHz, 120 Gigs (2 drives), inVidia GeForce4 Ti4600.
I spent quite some time tweaking the program to achieve optimal results, I download high-quality add-ons and make sure I compose the shot carefully. For example, I stay away from close-to-the-ground shots where the terrain looks poor. I keep the background as clean as possible and I try to take advantage of good "lighting" conditions. FS9 gives you a lot more options in that regard. Other than that, I guess it's just dumb luck. :D

Sounds like my carrier landings! I get em with dumb luck that I don't hit the back of the carrier as low as I fly in depending solely on the altimeter and not my own eyes!
I think I understand what you are saying. Because I see some nice shots I could take but I can't find the damn printscreen button fast enough to capture it! Anyhow I will try to take some more dramatic shots at carrier landing!

Us people with newer ATI cards, we'll never be able to compete when it comes to crispness like it or not. Simply put the nVIDIA cards have better picture quality, especially when you crank up that Anisotropic filtering.
The best "screenies" comes from Ysteinbuch and Fly2e IMO, it's not a coincidence they have Geforce cards, however, I doubt they'll be able to fly smoothly with the AA at max setting, talk about FPS killer

I least I couldn't do that with my ti4600 :)
