It's almost done. Just need the steering wheel.

After this, I'll be busy with the aircraft.cfg and *.air files.

I thank you fellas for the nice comments.

I have noticed that I have improved very quickly and I'm advancing very rapidly as I finish each project.

Right now, the model has about a WHOPPING 55,000+ polys. :o

And that includes:

Exterior and Interior models
Driver
And all the bells and wistles. ;)

EDIT: I'm planning to make the Ferrari Enzo. Since the Ferrari has many sharp edges and corners, I'll have to make it using the Poly method instead of the usual spline.

Well, about the driver. ;D

From where I live, I sometimes see young women driving around in sports cars. ;D ::)

That's why I added a female driver. :P

PS: I just finished the steering wheel. I'll post a pic of the interior.

You did put the engine in the boot didn't you?

Just one thing, for the FD remember that the 911 has a nasty tendancy to spin during fast cornering. So remember to put that in.

It looks good. Though it would look a whole lot better without that spoiler. :P

I wanna ask you people a question. I know this question belongs in the Aircraft Design Forums, but nobody seems to help yet.

How can I fix the size of my Porsche in FS? In FS, the car is about the size of a city.

This may be a newbish question, but let me explain why I ask it.

I have first exported the model into a *.mdl file and I tested it out in FS. When I saw the city-sized Porsche, I thought a made a mistake with the unit setup. I check and these were the settings: [Unit Setup] Meters and [Preferences] 1 Unit = 0.1 Meter and [below the viewports] Grid = 1.0m

I scaled it down and exported again [a long and boring process for a 55,000-poly model]. I checked it again in FS, BUT STILL no good and it's still a city-sized car.

I thought it had something to do with Mdlcommander and Middleman. So, I took those out including the involved Text and System Files that appeared in the plugins folder of Gmax [the names of the files were obvious].

I exported once again by using JUST the original Makemdl program. BUT AGAIN, I see a city-sized car in FS. ???

Can someone "PLEASE" explain to me what is causing this BLOWOUT in size? The car model is so big, it can reach the clouds with its roof. And it doesn't seem to matter how I scale the model in Gmax, because in FS the model is still HUGE.
