IFDG Usair Boeing 767-200

This in my opinion, is truly a beutiful aircraft. The surfaces are real smooth and shiny. The curves are sharp on this plane and the lighting system is cool.

This aircraft and the DC-10 truly have the work done and the planes are a beauty!

Only problem and I don't know if everyone is experiencing this, but the front seems to be too heavy. Everytime I land this plane the front gear collapses and it doesn't seem to matter how light I come in. it always collapses.

Hey Mav, on the problem with landings. How much fuel are you using and how long are your flights. I know when I first started flying 767's and other larger airliners that I was taking off with full fuel on fairly short flights for the aircraft which would cause me to come in to heavy. It's called the MLW (Maximum Landing Weight). I found a 767 manual at Flightsim.com that tells you all the operating limits for the 767-200 and 767-300 if you wanna go try to find it. The filename is 767perf.zip. I found it very helpful when I was having trouble landing. Hope this helps! Oh and by the way awesome pics!

Thanks for the assistance guys.

geforce what kind of resizing application are using. Can you give me a run through on how to resize these pics. I follow the programs in the instructionals above. But I think they are outdated and don't work on my PC. I had a conflict with the print/screen button operation.

Can you tell me what you are using and how you set it up and use it? I always have problems with these resizing tools.

JlVandem thanks for the information on the fuel tank limit thing. I will look at that file and read on. That sounds like what the issue might be. I shift the weight of the plane to back when I land and then when I push the front gear down its like the whole plane goes under and the gear buckles  :o! Even when coming in light. Plus I don't burn fuel because I set my game for infintie fuel supply! Don't like running out of fuel without an airport nearby  :-/! Thanks for the info!

I must be totally nuts, Whenever you don't know what application needs to be used with a program. You experiment with assorted programs and WINDOWS XP seems to make your error your permenant solution.

I bring this up because I found that file you asked me to look up (767perf.zip) at Flightsim.com and when i opened it windows used the word program to read it and I got some egyption lettering. I can't read it at all.

So I decided to run a little experiment, I am going to change the settings to allow the fuel to burn off. and see if that does anything with the landing gear issue!

Mav,

I use a freeware resizing tool called PixResizer. It will always get shots way below 100k and is extremely easy to use. It is also very flexible, it will work on just about any computer.

I won't need to tell you how to use it, once you have installed it, just start up the program and follow the steps in each box. The boxes are labeled 1 to 5, so just do what it says in each one and click Save Picture.

PixResizer also can work with multiple files, so it saves you having to do each one, which can become very tedious.

Find it at http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm and download the not-very-big install file.

Good luck, it produces excellent results ;) Any problems, let me know ;)

But it is all good this program suits the purpose. Thanks for your help Johnathan.
