Nice one Ace. :)

One comment. It's a Vickers Viking. Vickers is the name of a manufacturer, part of the Vickers Armstrong group that built a great many different types of aircraft, tanks & ships among other things. Without the type name it would be like calling a B-17 a Boeing. ;)

Excellent choice and nice pic.

You can either alias the sound to the DC3 or, as I've done, use another (better) FS2000 DC3 sound set. Great

Here's a pic of another one of the liveries at Humberside.

And here's the panel I put together for it

One of a great series of planes from Rick Piper who I've been trying to mention as often as possible here on the forum.

BTW

I've also got this flying as an AI. It flies and lands beautifully.

very nice stuff Roler, i have it on FS2002 and i gave it a DC3 panel i d/l'ed, i was wondering if u could send me yours please ;D i also liased the sounds to the C172(i dont have any other suitable sound set) this model loads my system a wee but not too much so i dont wanna have it as AI or anything, i thought about it but it would be a bomb if i did :( i dunno if there's something i can do to mke it run smoother just by tweaking the settings.

Nice one Ace. :)

==================================

Edit: he just released the Jet Provost MkV i d/l'ed but havent tried it yet. from the shots he has on his page it loos great!!! panel and shounds included! i'll post a pic or two ;)

LOL. I would hardly call the Vickers-Supermarine Spitfire ugly. And what about the Viscount? ;D

The Viking wasn't bad for its time but was actually developed from the Wellington WWII bomber. I never really liked it & used to call it the Flying Pig. ;)
