These great classics never die, they don't even fade away, they just remain as cool as ever.  Took these shots over Venice while I was cruising about.

I love that plane, beautifull and good to handle.

I always like to see nice shots of the aerocomander, like these. ;D

Hey codered:

Have you ever had the chance to see Bob Hoover fly his aerobatic routine in an Aero Comander?  For those who have not, he is amazing. While flying on one engine, he rolls into the dead one at low altitude, coming in just over the runway, switches off the other engine and climbs, does a loop, then performs a dead stick landing, and rolls to a halt in front of the crowd, and that is only the last 5 minutes of the show.  What a pilot.

P.S. When I saw him preform, he was already in his late 60's

Saw that routine live in Ontario a few yrs back.....on hwy 10, at Brampton Airfield......
